Melissa the founder of NGC has always seen NGC as having a well-defined purpose. This purpose rests on three distinct pillars below, and the objective is to actively pursue these which will foster a great community and support our purpose.

NGC has consistently centered around connecting with new people.
Our commitment to this purpose is evident through our tradition of maintaining a calendar of events.
We love to see people attend our events and we hope you see the value this adds to the community.
While we recognize that many individuals enjoy chatting on their phones, our focus remains on fostering genuine, lifelong friendships.

We aim to highlight the remarkable women within our group by championing local female-owned businesses through our newsletter and celebrating the achievements of individuals.
We look to collaborate with small business events for our events and champion your business.

How can I get involved?

Attend
NGC Get-Togethers
These are activities that are not ticketed or free. These are great first timer events as there normally low key events.
Examples - Walks, Coffee Morning or Museum Trips

NGC Events
These activities are paid events and either requirement full payment upfront or a deposit toward the activity.
Examples - Yoga, Mini Golf or Pottery Painting.

NGC Founder Events
These activities organised by our Founder Melissa and the admin team. These are normally large social events.
Examples - Galentines Event, Over 30 Socials.
I’m so glad I joined Newcastle Girls Club! Since joining I have met some amazing girls through attending different activities, such as walking groups, going to the cinema, and playing badminton. Some of these girls I now consider my friends and love meeting up with them on a weekly or monthly basis. - Alice
